 Do you give donations
on monthly basis to
the Donkey Sanctuary Nederland?

Please read this message (in Dutch).

OPENING HOURS
Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for visitors. Entry is possible until 4:00 PM. After 4:00 PM, we can no longer allow visitors to drive around the park, so make sure to arrive before 4:00 PM to visit our donkeys!

In 1993, the Dutch couple Marina Melis and her husband Ed Koopman set up a donkey sanctuary on Bonaire for sick, injured and orphaned donkeys: Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire. You are very welcome to visit Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire yourself.

Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is committed to providing a protected life for all donkeys on Bonaire. Information is also given about the living environment of donkeys to the islanders, at schools and to tourists. Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire currently houses more than 800 donkeys. They are provided with food, drinking water and medical care and have a lot of space and freedom.
